Why The Healing Journey Requires a Leap of Faith

Video Description:
I started recording for another topic, and God put this talk into my heart. The nature of healing trauma is difficult and painful. You will see things you can never unsee. You will face a time in your life when you know there's no going back on this journey because it will change you forever. You will have to decide if you want to move forward in spite of that. This requires a leap of faith into the unknown, because that's what healing requires. The way you see certain people in your life will change. Your relationships will change. The way you see the world change. It can be a lonely road. You have to do the work every day, but it's worth it. On the other side of that leap of faith, you can have the life you always wanted but never thought you could.

Resources:
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost--I believe that philosophy, literature, art, media, history, and other subjects can inform and enrich our experience with wisdom that gives us more perspective. This poem can help you reflect on what the healing journey means for you in conjunction with what is said in this talk.
