"The Destructive Power of Denial" discusses how denial can impact every area of our lives and relationships. Denial is probably the number one weapon used by abusers, and it's the number one reason people stay in bondage. We've all been impacted by denial in some way.
The video discusses what you need to do if you're in a relationship with someone who is in denial about harm or abuse they may be contributing to you or the relationship, if you're in denial about harm you're contributing, and/or what you should look for to know if someone is using denial as a defense mechanism against you, and how you can protect yourself. It also describes the steps of a genuine apology so you can know what to look for if someone is sincere in making changes in a relationship as well as the steps to consider when deciding if a relationship can be reconciled. Acknowledging a problem is the first step in healing it, and it's the first step to freedom and reconciliation. It's the key to the truth, which will set you free.
