Real. Relevant. Relationship.--The Role God Plays in our Recovery is a concept God put on my heart, and I didn't know what I would say until the podcast was recorded. The role God plays in our recovery is everything. Some will say if you aren't recovering from difficult emotions, trauma, depression, anxiety, or abuse, you don't have enough faith in God or you're not doing enough of something, but most of the time, this simply isn't true. It's both our relationship with God and the scientific modalities that target trauma at its source combined, that help us make progress in recovery. While this is true, our real, relevant relationship with God lights the way, and as we heal, the holes we punch in our trauma let the light and love of God in, so we can live the vivid and beautiful life God meant for us, in full living color.
