Taking Every Opportunity to Grow and Learn: Willingness, Non-Resistance and Acceptance to Heal Trauma is a two-episode series that examines the impacts of trauma, what resistance is, and why unhealed trauma survivors resist the reality of trauma instead of accepting it. It further explores the healing power of non-resistance to what is, and how this leads to healing and peace.
While there aren't always clear answers, this series explores why God allows difficult and traumatic experiences to happen, how resistance plays a part in these realities, and why we resist instead of accept them. It further examines how willingness, non-resistance, and acceptance toward what is improves our situation and allows us to heal our trauma, grow in these experiences, and find peace and meaning we might not find otherwise. Non-resistance leads us to a place of surrender in our walk with Christ.
Then, I share concrete practices that will show you how to apply willingness, non-resistance, and acceptance in your own life to heal trauma and ease your experience, even in the face of traumas and harsh realities.
